Who wants to engage people’s interest must provoke them. Salvador Dalí

We have quality time in foreign top-class restaurants, drinking cocktails with fruits from the remotest countries and be inspired by the stories of indigenous culture from the operation. Soaked with the impressions that do not comply everyday life, we start the way to home. It comes to an encounter with an extraordinary person. She is different, She is diversae, She is individual, She is noted, but condemned. We only focus glances on that person, but no words.
Craving for recognition is firmly anchored in our society. Just how every person is unique, so everyone has a different perception of how to achieve recognition?
Because a society is always a community and lives of cohesion and respect, many people try to win recognition by adapting to the norm. But is that right? How much consideration has to do with the oppression of their own uniqueness when the society always consists of a large abundance of individuals? Is paying attention, and strengthen community not in truth, to accept the individual?
We want to show how we feel, what we think and embody. The search for meaning is ever present. We all have the same target: happiness! We all want to realize a dream that makes us happy. People who are brave enough to tackle their wishes and dreams actively, and appreciate their own uniqueness or even celebrate this, stand out from the crowd. They arouse curiosity of those around them. If we’re honest, our own too.
They awake fears by their allegedly reckless actions stirring up the community. Deadlocked ways of thinking, habits and standards could be questioned! They rouse the insecure feeling of change. Therefore, individual people have to fight constantly against intolerance. They’re only egoists with exaggerated egotism. Not really an enviable position, say many. But these critics would secretly like to live itself. But their anxiety to convey unintentionally into social off, is too great.
Our law already committed to take minorities in protection. Everyone has the right to realize by their appearance. We often get the impression that tolerance and in general value-development must be defined. Likewise with the respect and esteem. Far too often, an impression is defined and determined by the appearance. Therefore, our culture will award prizes for personal performance such as important discoveries, innovations or great artistic works. She wants us to encourage to take the plunge by rewarding us with social status. The thing many of us fearing to loose.
We need a change. We all must understand and accept that everyone is an individual with characteristics, including ourselves. And that it is not reprehensible. In this fascinating colorful world tolerance and acceptance should be granted.
So why not help other people to be happy? Show them tolerance and affirm them to be who they want to be. Not question their intention by looks or comments, but accept with ease. So why not simply change the perspective and try to see behind it. To be animated by the strength of the person who bears the intolerance of the general public in order to feel comfortable in their own skin.
Why not let everyone feel the freedom by accepting and inspire each other. To select and decide between all possibilities without coercion. Make the future through your dreams.
And even if we are doomed, personal freedom, development and self-realization is more important than the acceptance of the masses. The Community is not responsible for our own happiness, only we ourselves are. As long as we do not restrict the freedom of others or infringe each other, no one has to criticize, that we take our happiness in our own hand.
Thinking differently. That should be our ambition. Think different was already the slogan of an advertising campaign by Apple with the following text:
Here’s to the crazy ones.
The round pegs in the square holes.
The ones who see things differently.
They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo.
You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them.
But the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things.
They push the human race forward.
And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.
Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.
